Can you imagine today’s world without electronics?……….. Surely not. Today it has become extremely difficult to name a field that does not include electronic components in some way. Let it be Healthcare or Transportation, Entertainment or Education, every important realm of our recent lifestyles has elegantly embraced the power of electronics.
Audio Accessories
It won’t be an exaggeration to say that audio accessories are actually the spine of any effective digital communication, multimedia event, and even common leisure activities such as listening to music, watching movies, playing video games, etc. Sound is an important aspect and one cannot compromise its quality because a good sound can set a ravishing ambiance. Hence it becomes inevitable for you to have the knowledge of the best audio accessories that would surely enhance your entire collection of audio accessories. The commonly used audio accessories are headphones, microphones, receivers, amplifiers, etc.
Basic Components
Every now and then we all have some other electronic gadget in our hand. However, thought about the components that the gadget is made of does not even run through our mind. But, without these basic components, no electronic gadget would exist. The fundamental electronic components can be resistors, capacitors, transistors, relays, switches, inductors, transformers, diodes, LEDs, transmitters, receivers, batteries, microphones, buzzers, motors, multimeters, sensors, etc.
Bread Board
If you consider building an electronic project, you would surely be working with various components and you would be required to connect these components so that you can get the desired work done. The connections are established using a breadboard and jumper cables. The breadboard is generally a board having holes for mounting. The horizontal rows on the breadboard are often used for power supply connections and hence are called power rails. However, the vertical ones are called terminals. The connections made on the breadboard are temporary and can be changed as and when required.
Buzzers
Any electronic device that is capable of producing a buzzing sound so that it can be used for the purpose of signaling can be called a buzzer. The buzzers can be electroacoustic, electromagnetic, electromechanical, piezoelectric, etc. Beeper is an alias for buzzers and can be seen in timers, automobiles, alarm devices, other household appliances, etc.
Connectors
While building an electronic circuit there arises a need to connect the terminals and this is done with the help of electromechanical devices called connectors. Various connectors include RCA connectors, XLR connectors, PCB mount connectors, RF connectors, etc.
Oscilloscope
Let it be medical researchers, physicists, or even automotive mechanics… these all professionals use an oscilloscope. But what oscilloscope actually is? The oscilloscope is a device that shows the waveforms of electronic signals as the output and these waveforms can then be analyzed. The variety of oscilloscopes includes digital phosphor oscilloscopes, digital storage oscilloscopes, mixed-signal oscilloscopes, digital sampling oscilloscopes, mixed domain oscilloscopes, etc.
Potentiometer
A passive electronic component that can act as a voltage divider is often called the potentiometer. Its main task is to regulate the current flowing in the circuit. It is basically a variable resistor having three terminals and it allows us to vary the resistance so as to get the desired value of electric current. The potentiometer can be used to compare the emf (electromotive force) of two cells. Rotary and Linear are the two types of potentiometers. The working principle of both of these is nearly the same. The potentiometer can be handy in measuring the internal resistance of a battery cell. It is used in medical instruments, television, and radio for regulating volume, etc.
Signal Generator
A device that is capable of producing repeating or non–repeating electric signals can be termed a signal generator. The signals produced can be either analog or digital. However, the shape and amplitude of the signals produced can vary. The general purpose signal generators are function generators, arbitrary waveform generators, RF and microwave signal generators, vector signal generators, etc. Whereas special-purpose signal generators are pitch generators and audio generators, video signal generators, etc.
Switches & Keypads
An electronic component that is capable of controlling the flow of electric current in a circuit can be termed a switch. Basically, a switch serves the purpose of turning on the circuit and turning off the circuit. A variety of switches are available like single pole single throw, single pole double throw, double pole single throw, and double pole double throw. These are all mechanical switches where physical contact is required for their activation. Whereas power diodes, transistors, SCRs, MOSFETs, TRIACs, IGBTs, etc are all electronic switches that do not require physical contact for their activation. If a user wants to enter any value into a computer then there has to be an input device that would serve this purpose. And the keypad does exactly that. Keypads can be numeric as well as alphanumeric. They can be seen in calculators, vending machines, ATMs, digital door locks, etc. As per your requirements, you can choose the wired keypad or the wireless keypad.
